Oh, hey there!
So I guess it's time to update this thing. Well Christmas has been and gone, I hope you got what you wanted, (or, as I kept having to tell my friend, what you didn't know you wanted)!
Now that I am eighteen, I can legally drink. So I have been taking advantage of this and have been out drinking/clubbing almost every night...
I have to be honest, I live in a little town on the edge of South Auckland called Pukekohe. It's about a town of 25, 000 and there's only 4 or 5 bars. They're generally filled with older people too, so it's a very, uh, dead scene. For example, I went out with a few mates to celebrate my friend's birthday. We got to Smart Bar, because that's where everyone goes, at about 11pm and there were a few older people there. I'm meaning 40+. It was very awkward, but by the time we had realized it was dead, we were already inside so we couldn't just turn around and leave.
Since there was nothing to do, I decided to try something for the very first time...

I'm not going to lie...
Congratulations, you're reading post numero uno.
I'm not going to lie, I literally have no clue what I'm going to write about. I don't really know why I started this blog... I guess now that I've (finally) finished school and have a few more months until University starts, I thought that this would be a project to keep me busy.
Well I guess I should tell you a little bit about me;
My name is Kieran. I have just turned 18 (hooray) and I live in South Auckland, New Zealand. Next year I am hoping to attend Auckland University of Technology where I will do a Bachelor of Communications majoring in Public Relations and Events Management... That is, if I pass Level 3 NCEA.
My best friend is Sarah. She's amazing. Generally, if I'm not at work, I'm at her house. It's also a coincidence that she is my twin. Not biologically, but we are born on the same day. What are the chances of that?
I work as a kitchen assistant at a rest home. And by assistant, I mean bitch. I make the tea and wash the dishes. I only work every second weekend and every Monday, which is good because I don't think I could work there more than I already do, as much as I love the staff and residents; but getting up at 6am and finishing at 6pm is not fun, especially when I have to miss out on going out at the weekend.
I love Lady Gaga. It's hard to explain, but I just think she's amazing. Recently, I read an article that said that she is on the way out and people are starting to get tired of her, which freaked me out. It's sad, I know, but she is just such a lovely person.
Okay, well it is ten past twelve in the morning, and I have been up since 6am for work so i better get some sleep before I pass out. Although, I am surprised at how much I have written, considering I just sat down and began typing!
Ciao for now,
arrSubwaykidd
